Murielle Jassinthe is a francophone writer, interdisciplinary artist, and entrepreneur based in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She is the founder, owner, and CEO of Black Lantern, a cross-border ecosystem spanning real estate syndication, arts-wealth consulting, media, coaching, and philanthropy across Canada and the United States. As General Partner of Black Lantern Capital, she leads multifamily acquisitions and provides consulting, networking, and artist management services at the intersection of arts, real estate, and asset building.
Her poetry appears in Terre de Femmes, 150 ans de littérature féminine en Haïti, and she authors the MÜLTIMÉDIART column for WebOuest. She is co-founder and Chair of RÉNOC, partner of the literary journal À ciel ouvert, and works with the Law Society of Nunavut on JEDI initiatives. A Université Laval graduate, she co-founded the Nunavut Theatre Company, led Théâtre Uiviit as chair and artistic director, and managed CFRT 107,3 FM, Iqaluit’s francophone radio station. Through the Black Lantern volunteering endeavors, she champions arts access, wealth education, justice, and advocacy, including Boda Boda Camp, a trauma-informed, culturally relevant youth performing arts initiative.

Murielle Jassinthe est une écrivaine, artiste interdisciplinaire et entrepreneure francophone établie à Iqaluit, au Nunavut. Elle est fondatrice et PDG de Black Lantern, un écosystème transfrontalier englobant la syndication immobilière, les services-conseils en arts et en patrimoine financier, les médias, le coaching et la philanthropie au Canada et aux États-Unis. À titre de PDG de Black Lantern Capital, elle dirige des acquisitions multilogements et offre des services de consultation, de réseautage et de gestion d’artistes à l’intersection des arts, de l’immobilier et de la constitution d’actifs.
Ses poèmes paraissent dans Terre de Femmes, 150 ans de littérature féminine en Haïti, et elle signe la chronique MÜLTIMÉDIART pour WebOuest. Cofondatrice et présidente du RÉNOC, partenaire de la revue littéraire À ciel ouvert, elle collabore aussi avec le Barreau du Nunavut sur des initiatives JEDI. Diplômée de l’Université Laval, elle a cofondé la Nunavut Theatre Company, dirigé le Théâtre Uiviit comme présidente et directrice artistique, et géré la radio CFRT 107,3 FM, la radio francophone d’Iqaluit. Par les initiatives bénévoles de Black Lantern, elle défend l’accès aux arts, l’éducation financière, la justice et la défense des droits, notamment via le Boda Boda Camp, une initiative jeunesse en arts de la scène tenant compte des traumatismes et culturellement pertinente.
