ABOUT
I studied accounting in college and did accounts for a couple of years after graduation. I then went into education, becoming an English teacher in a high school, followed by a job as an accounts lecturer in a college as I love teaching and interacting with people from all types of background. After getting married, I started a t-shirt printing business as income from my lecturing job was inadequate to support a family. In addition, I established a few other businesses, becoming involved in English tuition, shirt embroidery, corporate gifts distribution & creating my own tee shirt brand. The business that completely changed my life was when I got involved in selling Unit Trusts or mutual funds. You see, I “accidentally” achieved an overseas trip to Bali, Indonesia. All hell broke loose as my wife, Stella, demanded to go along with me! To pacify her, I promised to achieve a higher target the next year and bring her to Osaka, Japan. She calmed down & agreed, as that was definitely a better deal.
From an early age, I knew I wanted to build a better financial future for myself. I worked long hours at my businesses. Revenue didn’t grow much as basically, we were order takers – opening up shop and waiting for clients and orders to come in. I was in deep trouble when I promised my wife to bring her to Osaka. I knew nothing about sales. I didn’t know how to reply when prospects said, “Let me think about it.” In desperation, I googled “How to increase my sales” and guess who popped up? GRANT CARDONE! I learnt everything I could from his videos. I qualified for Osaka, brought my wife for a memorable trip & saved my marriage! With newfound sales skills and confidence, my business boomed. In gratitude, I became a Grant Cardone Licensee. Now, I want to help anyone who struggles like I did but who knows they can be better versions of themselves.
